Misadventures in Online Dating

I hope you're having a FANTASTIC Tuesday so far!

I'm kinda excited about Tuesday today- unusual- but it's mostly because my sweet, sweet friends Allie &  Brin are hosting a FABULOUS one time link up.

So, y'all know that I (at very long last!) gave online dating a try. I talked about it here.  To "get my feet wet- I started out with Plenty of Fish (POF)" -my own thoughts/said by the funny, funny Ella in the comments of my original post!
Y'all. This site is crazy. I've had SO MANY WEIRDOS. Contact me. SO MANY.  I haven't had any luck with this site so far. Overall, I'm not concerned. I mean, it was just a way to get myself out there.
 (Plus, I'll be really honest. It's been entertaining, humorous & has made for some WONDERFUL content for the blog!)

First of all- what's in a name?!

Yes, you read this right. There is an 'ex stripper' who now needs love...and is looking for it from me, supposedly. 

Melon head....really? 

Nugget. I just...I just don't know.

Handyman. I know what this probably means, but, I also know what handyman makes me think sooo this made the list! 

Night-hunter- what does this even means?! 

Oh, what do these guys have to say to me?!  I'm so glad you've asked....

I'm not sure WHAT is short and sweet but I'm not sure that I'll be finding out....

I'm already feeling pressured....! PS- This one is from the EX STRIPPER....

Persistent or clueless?  I'm not quite sure. 

He asked me to get lunch....a day after we started talking online. It was too much too soon. I didn't answer in 24 hours and I got this email. I felt like I was in trouble! Needless to say, we're not getting lunch.

There's a difference between persistent and not taking a hint.... 

This guys profile essentially says he's looking for "wife material" and someone who doesn't like to "go out to bars." Well, buddy...I'm 25 and I'd like to have some fun. When I told him we weren't compatible- he asked why.  I explained it, kindly, and this was the response I got. WHAT am I looking for anyways?! 

Seriously, guys. I'm having to CUT MYSELF OFF here because I could go ON and ON with the crazy emails/pictures/usernames that I've received. Don't worry, I'll have another post coming up for ya sometime soon- who knows, maybe it could even include some of the GOOD things that I've run into in online dating.
