Random Ramblings

Happy New Year! I'm back at work today (BOO!) but I'm not quite in the swing of things, so, I've been blogging intermittently throughout the day.  I don't have too much to say today other than what's being said by everyone else- Happy New Year, going back to work sucks & here's to a great 2013.  I thought I'd go ahead and join in on Shanna's Random Wednesday because, hey, who doesn't love random?! - I just "cleaned up" my list of blogs I'm subscribed too/following. My 'to read' list was just getting way too out of hand. There were so many blogs I wasn't reading, a lot that weren't active any more and I, honestly, felt like I was missing a lot of good reads because I was so overwhelmed by the number of unread items that I'd just skip them all. I feel bad admitting that and I feel badly that I know I lowered the follower counts of peoples blogs. It had to be done though.  -I'm thinking about reactivating my Facebook. I never fully deleted it, but, I've had it inactive since June. I'm not sure- we'll see. I didn't miss it up until recently....I'm at a better place now than when I deleted it but I'm still not sure it's a good idea.  - I'm SO EXCITED that it's 2013 because I'm finally able to use my Maybooks Planner! I've been waiting so patiently since November! -I'm slightly obsessed with the manicure I got this weekend.  -I'm AMAZED at the number of people that Jessica and I had link up with us for {5 for 2013}. It was really, really encouraging! I think with the amazing support system we have for each other that we can accomplish ALL of our goals this year! PS- The linkup is open through Friday if you're still interested.  - I had a fabulous New Year's Eve. It was the first in a few years that I got to spend with my girlfriends & it was great. Just enough fun but nothing over the top!  -Thanks to some gift cards I receive from my lovely co-workers/supervisors I bought myself this pretty little thing last weekend. I've been wanting a cross body bag for a while.  -I'm not even going to TRY to start my 2013 goals/resolutions until  Monday, January 14th. Work is insane until then and I want to wait to start when I KNOW I'm going to be successful.  -I'm thinking of changing the way that I blog in 2013. Less money spent on advertising/giveaways/swaps. It's just getting to be A LOT. Possibly less link ups. More content and less fluff. Kind of getting back to my "roots" of blogging.  - I have really, really good friends. One of them being my mom. I appreciate her ALWAYS listening to me....not giving me advice when I don't want to hear it and always,always, always having my back. I'm lucky to have her.  -I'm uncertain about what 2013 is going to bring, but, to be honest....I'm okay with that. January 2nd, 2012 I thought I knew how my year was going to go and I was TOTALLY, COMPLETELY wrong. I guess knowing that I'll never know exactly what is going to happen gives me some sense of ease....makes me think that things are going to happen how/when/as they need to happen.  -However, I do believe that....
