Sparkle & Shine

Good Morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!

Even though this week was super short work wise (2 days?! Yes please!) I'm still more than thrilled that it's the weekend again AND another long weekend at that. 4 more days of relaxation after today! After this, it's back to the utter craziness of 'real life' but I think it will be more manageable having come off spending some time relaxed!


It has been FOREVER since I've linked up with the lovely {AV} for a round of Friday's Fancies, but, in the spirit of the holidays and New Years quick approaching-I couldn't pass up the opportunity to place around with some fun & fancy NYE dresses!

I highly doubt I'll be wearing anything so fancy- I'm going to be a bar watching my favorite 80's cover band! Which I'm looking forward to & now thinking....I have NO IDEA what I'm going to wear yet! Something cute & festive but comfortable for lots of standing and dancing- that is for sure!

  2. I love #4, too! My husband and I will be having a low-key NYE at home (no partying with a 5-year-old, haha) so I have no reason to get all dolled up this year. Maybe 2013 will be the year for sparkly, sequined numbers. :)

  8. I also love the look of 4 but I get WAY too hot in sleeves at bars/parties/clubs so I would never do that to myself :-P

  9. I'm going to try the LBD look this year - thinking of pairing it with some colored tights! We'll see how adventurous I'm feeling :) Love all of your choices!

  10. I'd have to say 3 is my favorite. :)

    I kept thinking yesterday was Monday when I went into work, and now that it's Friday and a long weekend, I'm so excited too. lol

    I'm going to Denver to ring in NYE so I don't know what I'm wearing since I don't know what we're doing yet. But I'm going to bring what I wore on my birthday just in case we do something nice. :)

  11. Oh I want ALL of these dresses! I haven't decided what I'm wearing for NYE - mainly because we still don't have plans set in stone. BUT my sister got me a gorgeous black lace skirt for Christmas, so I may have to find something sparkly to pair with that :)

I say rock the sequins at the bar with the 80's cover band, they'll appreciate you : ) I saw pictures from an acquaintance's wedding who had bridesmaids wearing a dress dangerously close to #4, if not exactly that one. I don't know about as a bridesmaid's dress, but I did love the dress : )
